- Two-Step Verification:
Google provides this service of verifying the identity not only through password but also through a code which will be sent to mobile device whenever you will log in and feed username and password. This means your Gmail account will have two protection layers and if your credentials reaches wrongs hands then they will also require this code sent to your mobile device.
- Put Perplexing Passwords:
Choose passwords which can be remembered and are complicated at the same time. Do not use dictionary words and try for words which have no sense. Put some symbols like "#", "%", etc making it longer. Do not put same passwords for many accounts, try avoiding this.
- Don't Trust for Password:
Never ever take chances with the passwords and do not trust anyone and provide your passwords to anyone. Avoid jotting down the passwords to unsafe places. Do not use the "Remember username and passwords" option if you are logging in from new unprotected system.
